Themes & Special Events

Summer is a time to grow, learn, and explore with friends, and what better way to do that than through a true camp experience!  Each week at camp, we explore a new, fun-filled theme.  We connect creative arts, physical activities, science explorations, etc. to this weekly theme.  Staff members work together to plan active and interesting activities that challenge campers and encourage them to grow and work together.  Special events, guest visitors, and field trips are planned to further develop our weekly themes.  Some of our anticipated themes for this summer include:
  • Wild About Nature
  • Royally Awesome
  • Road Trip
  • Imaginarium
  • It's History!
  • Fun in a Hat!
  • Field trip pre-registration forms are distributed in advance on site or via email to families.  To ensure a fun, safe field trip experience, we keep our counselor to camper ratio low, and that means planning ahead.    It is very important to pre-register for field trips, so that we may staff accordingly, and also so that our destination representative is prepared for the number of participants we're bringing.  No additional cost for field trips!
